What’s the best way to begin a story? With a hero (you) and a wish (your most heartfelt desire.) Plus… the one thing that will stop you from achieving it (in this case, a misguided or false belief.) 

How does a mere mortal like you assume the stature of a hero? By doing the one thing most mere mortals shy away from. Persevering against all odds. 

This is the “proof of the pudding” piece where you come out of the darkness and emerge into the light, as the hero of your story, with a new worldview and all the other transformation this journey has delivered for you. 

This is where the fun begins. Now you're going to take the best, most compelling bits of what you've put together and weave them into your shitty first draft. 

The real skill and discipline in writing are deciding what to leave out. If your story wanders, so too will the minds of your audience. A tightly crafted, riveting tale requires discipline and humility because it’s not really about you, it’s about the person on the receiving end and what they need to hear. 

This is where you get to lift the veil on your tale and share it with the world. In that magic moment where you press "post", you will realise this whole exercise was never about writing, but becoming a whole new, bolder, braver version of you.
